Midland University Performing Arts is striving to create relevant opportunities for our students while being a positive force in our community. Your support is essential in making these goals a reality! Midland truly believes that our “Arts for All” philosophy prepares students of every discipline, in and out of the arts, to make valuable contributions to their field after graduating from Midland. Our students are involved in theatre, dance, vocal and instrumental music, technical arts, and speech and debate. We hope you join us for our fantastic concerts and productions this year!
We recognize the obligation we have to help create a strong community around us. Our talented and experienced Performing Arts Staff travel to schools to provide clinics for students and teachers, and students are frequently invited on campus to learn and grow as performers. New this year is the Midland Performing Arts Studio, which includes affordable classes in music, theatre, and dance for local kids taught by our Midland students.
The performing arts have a long, rich history at Midland. We hope, through this society, to ensure a bright, vibrant future.
-Anne Sorensen-Wang, Director of Performing Arts
