A note from the President...

You are essential to the success of our students and the future of Midland University. You Matter. These two words have become our rallying cry this fall. It is the message that ties our future students and our current students, connects our
faculty and staff past and present, and is our anthem to you - our alumni, friends, parents, and community.

These words were also the theme throughout Homecoming and Family Weekend. I was thrilled to see so many of you during the weekend to celebrate the Midland tradition. Midland is blessed to have generations of dedicated alumni and families who are making a positive difference in the lives of Midland students.

Thank you for being for being a vital part of Midland University. You Matter.

Midland Honors Knudsons for Multi-Generational Relationship with University

The Knudson Family was honored with the 2017 Distinguished Midland Family Award during Homecoming and Family Weekend festivities from September 14- 17.

The award celebrates Midland's rich academic heritage by honoring a family with close ties to Midland as students, parents, professors, administrators and friends. These families embody the ideals of Midland in service to God, to Church and society; paying tribute to past accomplishments and future dreams. Midland chose to recognize the Knudson family as a Distinguished Midland Family for their three generations of involvement and investment in the life of Midland.

"It's a very nice honor to be the Distinguished Family," Beryl Knudson said. "With three generations between my husband, my kids and my grandson Brett, it has been a large part of my life for many years."
