Brian Foy, 63, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2026, of cancer, with his loving wife Pam by his side.

Brian was a devoted husband, stepfather, grandfather, brother, and friend whose greatest joy came from being with others. He shared 35 wonderful years of marriage with his wife, Pam, building a life centered on love, family, friends, and the Fremont community where he lived his entire life.

A graduate of Bergan High School, Brian earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Marketing from Midland University. He went on to enjoy a distinguished 40-year career in the insurance industry. He began his career with Northwestern Mutual before becoming an independent agent and founding Foy Financial Solutions representing Mass Mutual. Throughout his career, Brian was known not only for his professionalism and integrity but also for the genuine relationships he built with his clients.

Brian was a respected member of the Fremont community. As a former Diplomat with the Fremont Area Chamber of Commerce and an active member of the Fremont Rotary Club, he took pride supporting the continued growth of the community he loved.

More than any title or accomplishment, Brian will be remembered for the way he treated people. Brian believed that the best investment he could make was with people, and he lived each day with a generous heart and genuine concern for others. With a twinkle in his eye and his ever-present smile, kind heart and easy spirit, he had the remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcomed and valued with his quick wit and incredible sense of humor. He naturally focused on others, always willing to lend a helping hand, offer encouragement, or simply brighten someone's day. His voice mail ended with, "Make it a great day".

Brian found joy in gathering with family and friends, cheering on the Huskers, fishing, hunting, golfing, spending time on the water and having a great time wherever he went, whatever the occasion. Of all life's blessings, his greatest happiness was being the proud "BB" to his granddaughter, Ella, who always brightened his day.

Brian is lovingly remembered by his wife, Pam; his stepson, Nick Belak (Stephanie Kruse); and granddaughter, Ella Belak. He is also survived by his brothers, Mike (Janet), Pat (Julie) and Jon (Beth); his sisters, Susan James and Mary Beth Hachiya (Ben Whitten); along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, dear friends, and the countless people whose lives were enriched by knowing him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Jack Foy, and his sister, Karen Tuttle.

Brian's legacy is one of kindness, generosity, integrity and his infectious smile. His life was measured not only by his accomplishments but by the love he gave so freely and the countless lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Visitation will be held at Moser Memorial Chapel on Friday, August 7, 2026 from 5 to 7 p.m. A Celebration of Brian's Life will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Fremont. Interment will be at a later date.
