Del P. Roberts died on October 31, 2025, at the age of 86. He was born in Fremont, Nebraska, the son of John H. and Elsie Roberts.

Del attended Fremont High School and graduated from Midland Lutheran College (now Midland University) in 1961. Upon graduation, he joined Arthur Anderson & Co. and spent 8 years in the Omaha office and 4 years in the Baltimore, Maryland office.

Del joined the Mutual of Omaha Companies in 1973 and retired in 1999 as Senior Vice President-Internal Audit and Special Investigations.

Del was preceded in death by his parents and brother Richard. He is survived by his wife LaRue; children Scott (Grace), Steve (Heather) and Julie (Chad) Ingersoll; his grandchildren John (Whitney), Taylor, Lindsay, Shelby, and Ellie. Visitation: Tuesday, November 4, 2025 from 5-7 P.M. at Heafey Hoffmann Dworak and Cutler, West Center Chapel. Funeral Service: Wednesday, November 5th at 11:00 A.M. at Lutheran Church of the Master, 2617 S 114th St, Omaha, NE 68144.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Lutheran Church of the Master or Lutheran Family Services.
