Geraldine Ann Wachholz was born November 23, 1935 to Merle A. Van Dyke & Ruth A. Fimple in Omaha, Nebraska. She grew up there & graduated from Benson High School in 1953. She graduated from Immanuel School of Nursing, Omaha, Nebraska in 1957. She worked as an RN at Immanuel Hospital until she married Rev. Luther Gerhard Wachholz September 20, 1958. This marriage was blessed with a son Timothy & daughter Barbara. They lived, where Luther served churches, in Enid, Oklahoma, Monticello & Cedar Falls, Iowa & Blue Island, Illinois where she worked as an RN in the local hospitals. Due to health requirements for Luther they moved to Kalispell, Montana in 1975 & lived in the Many Lakes area. Luther worked for the Telephone Co. retiring in 1991 to his own maintenance business & she worked as an RN at the Kalispell Regional Hospital, Bigfork Convalescent Nursing Home, dental assisting for the local dentist, Flathead County Nursing Home & Brendan House nursing facility retiring in 1989, then joined Luther in his maintenance business until they both retired in 2001. She was also a charter member of the East Valley Quick Response Unit.

They had lived in a cabin from 1975 to 1976, then moved to Many Lakes until they moved to Prestige Assisted Living, Kalispell, Montana June 3, 2014. On March 7, 2017 they moved to Buffalo Hill Assisted Living where Luther passed away on March 21, 2019. Due to Geraldine's needing more physical help she moved to Tucson, AZ August 31, 2019 to be with her daughter Barbara & receive her help.

She was preceded in death by her parents & sister Dorothy Stack of Omaha, Nebraska & her husband Luther. She is survived by her son Timothy of Tucson, AZ, daughter Barbara Nason of Tucson, AZ, three grandchildren Elle, Brett & Jordan Nason, 3 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews & friends.Cremation has taken place by Evergreen Funeral Home in Tucson, AZ & services will be held at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home, 1890 Hwy 93 North, Kalispell, MT. Burial will take place at the Conrad Memorial Cemetery next to Luther.
