LeRoy Rees, age 91, of Roseville Beloved husband, dad & grandpa passed away on August 11, 2022. Roy was born on July 18, 1931 to LeRoy C. Rees Sr. and Ebba Rees in Whitneyville, CT. He graduated from Hall High School in West Hartford, CT. He attended Trinity College in Hartford, CT and Luther College in Wahoo, NE and the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in Rapid City, SD. On July 11, 1952 he was united in marriage to Dolores "Laurie" Anderson in Biloxi, MS, they were married for 62 years. Roy served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He was employed by Unisys for 32 years. He had been a resident of Roseville, MN since 1957 where he was an active member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church since 1959. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife and two sisters, Lois Woodend and Elizabeth Bixler. He is survived by his children, Linda Schramm (Steve), Bradley (Dawn), Brian (Gena) and Karen Lenz (Craig). Survivors also include brother, John Rees of Louisville, OH; 18 grandchildren, Amber, Kelsey, Brittany, Brandee, Baylee, Bradley, Blake, Anthony, McKaela, Taylor, Colman, Ryan, Emily, Aubrey, Charlie, Garrison, Benjamin and Samuel; 24 great grandchildren; 2 great great grand children. Memorial service Thursday 11 am at St. Michael's Lutheran Church, 1660 W. County Rd. B, Roseville. Visitation one hour prior at the church. Private family interment at Roselawn Cemetery.
