Midland University will be inducting three individuals and one team into its Warrior Athletic Hall of Fame during a ceremony September 25th, 2026, at the Wikert Event Center.

The 2006 baseball team will be joined by Paul Giesselmann (volleyball coach), Keith Kramme (softball coach and administrator), and Megan Farley (volleyball) as the newest inductees. 

The ceremony will also honor the 2025-26 Petrow and Bracker award winners for the outstanding male and female athletes, respectively. Honorees are Tyson Denkert (football) and Callie Maguire (women’s hockey).

Paul Giesselmann - Giesselmann retired in 2024 as one of the most decorated volleyball coaches in NAIA history. In his 15 seasons at Midland (2010-24), he compiled a record of 351-141 and had 578 total victories in his coaching career.

He guided the Warriors to 11 NAIA National Championships, including four national semifinal appearances in 2016, 2018, 2020, and 2022. His 2020 squad finished the season as national runner-up. During his tenure, the program produced 17 NAIA All-Americans, 52 All-GPAC selections, and 13 consecutive AVCA Team Academic Awards.

Giesselmann and his wife, Paige, have three children, Hunter, Garret, and Ansley.

Keith Kramme, ’87 - Kramme has held a variety of roles in his 35-year career at Midland University, including Sports Information Director, Assistant Athletic Director, Athletic Director, Director of Retention and Compliance, and Director of Student Success/Director of Athletic Student Achievement. He currently serves as Assistant Dean for Student Success.

Kramme was the Warriors’ softball coach from 1995-2015, earning 533 victories along the way. He earned conference coach of the year honors on four occasions, including in 2004 when his team posted a 23-1 mark, still a GPAC record for wins and winning percentage. His 2003 and 2004 teams captured back-to-back conference titles and three of his teams (2003, 2010, 2011) qualified for the NAIA National Tournament.

Keith and his wife, Lisa, have two children (Mattie and Jesse) and two grandchildren (Isaiah and Eliza).

Megan Farley, ’15 - Farley was a standout performer on the Warrior volleyball team from 2011-14. She remains the university’s all-time leader in assists with 5,351 and has the single-season mark for assists with 1,701. She added 1,193 digs, 226 kills, and 67 service aces to her career total.

She was a four-time All-GPAC performer and helped guide the Warriors to a 101-38 record during that time, including an NAIA National Tournament quarterfinal appearance in 2013, where she was named to the All-Tournament team. She was a two-time second team NAIA All-American and two-time AVCA second team selection. 

Megan currently lives in Colorado and is the founder of Moving Mountains Meg.

2006 Baseball Team - Under the guidance of head coach Jef Field, the 2006 Warriors finished with a 42-15 overall record and a 20-2 mark in the GPAC, both school records for wins and winning percentage, and captured the regular season and conference tournament titles. The Warriors had three players earn first-team All-GPAC honors and two more on the second team, as well as having two players earn NAIA honorable mention All-American honors. Midland hit .311 as a team and averaged nearly six runs per contest while only giving up 4.6 runs per game. 

Callie Maguire - Callie is the recipient of the Joanne Bracker Award, given to the Outstanding Female Athlete. Maguire was a key component of the Midland women’s hockey team that compiled a 31-5-3 record and captured the first national title in program history. A native of Minnedosa, Manitoba, Maguire was named to the second team of the ACHA All-Athletic team and is a two-time ACHA All-Tournament team member. She holds Midland single season records for points and game-winning goals.

Tyson Denkert - Denkert is the recipient of the George “Babe” Petrow Award, given to the Outstanding Male Athlete. Denkert finished his Midland football career as the school’s all-time leader in rushing yards with 3,563, including 945 yards and seven touchdowns in 2025. He also added 32 receptions for more than 250 yards and a touchdown in 2025. A native of Kenesaw, Nebraska, Denkert was an eight-time All-GPAC performer, a third-team All-American,  and a three-time NAIA Scholar Athlete.
