Sandra Elizabeth (Rippe) Biskup, 85 years of age, of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away on Wednesday, August 20th, 2025, at Yankee Hill Village in Lincoln. Sandra was born in Lexington, Nebraska, on November 7th, 1939, the second of three children, born to Carl Oscar Matson and Pearl Mae Elizabeth (Crantz) Matson. She received her primary education from the Ash Grove Country School in Phelps County, Nebraska, and later attended and graduated from Bertrand High School as Salutatorian of the class of 1957. Sandra graduated from Luther Jr College in Wahoo, Nebraska, in May of 1959 and went to work for the President of the College.
She pursued higher education and in January of 1966, she graduated from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, from the College of Business Administration, with Distinction. Sande completed her CPA training and received Certification from the Board of Certified Accountants in September 1982, supporting her work at the State of Nebraska Department of Revenue as an Auditor, where she worked until her retirement.

Following their retirement, Sandi and Justin volunteered with the American Red Cross for 15 years. In June of 2001, Sandra received the Harold Hill Humanitarian Award presented by the American Red Cross. They were Red Cross Volunteers at Ground Zero, arriving 2 days after 9/11.
She enjoyed her chocolate and reading. Sande and Justin were the perfect quilting team; Justin would cut quilt squares and Sande would sew them together.
