Jose Leon '17 was recently awarded the Columbus Public Schools School Bell Award in recognition for his service to youth at the school.

Leon was nominated by Columbus High School wrestling coach Adam Keiswetter, who delivered the letter of notification to Leon in person. Leon was chosen from a pool of nominees by a panel composed of the previous School Bell Award winner, teachers, classified staff and a school board member. He was recognized during a CPS employee banquet held earlier this month.
