Midland University at ELCA National Youth Gathering
Midland University will be a part of the ELCA Colleges and Universities Booth at the National Youth Gathering. If you or someone from your church will be in Houston this week, please stop and see us in the Interactive Center! We will have swag for alumni, current, and incoming students and information for prospective students. We hope to see you in Houston.
Midland University Honors Mathematics Professor for Excellence in Teaching
Midland University recently honored one member of its faculty with the Stephen E. Fritz Excellence in Teaching Award. Dr. Zhongming Huang, Professor of Math, was presented with the university's top faculty award during an academic year-end reception.
Established in 2010 by Fremont residents, Dr. Thom and Barbara Christensen, the award recognizes excellence in teaching as personified by Fritz, a former Midland president. Based on general criteria, the award distinguishes all aspects of a faculty member's job.

Booster Golf Tournament Held
Thank you to everyone who participated in the 22nd Annual Booster Club Golf Tournament! This event supports the Athletic Booster Club, which in turn helps provide equipment, facility upgrades and funding for our student-athletes. All proceeds from this tournament directly support the Warrior athletic tradition.
