Jon Clifton Named 2019 Commencement Speaker
Global Managing Partner and Gallup board member, Jon Clifton, will be speaking at Midland University’s 136th annual commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 11th. Jon will be giving a special presentation on Global Happiness on Friday, May 10th at 1:30 p.m. in the Kimmel Theatre, which is open to the public. Hear how happiness has changed over time, and how information technology, governance, and social norms influence communities.
Anthony Goetz Grows Strengths and Passions Through Internship
When senior student-athlete Anthony Goetz began his undergraduate program at Midland, he was a Human Performance - Exercise Science major and track scholarship recipient. Little did he know that over the course of his time at Midland, he would change his concentration to Sports Marketing and Management with a minor in Graphic Design, and discover a career path that matches his strengths and passions through internship experiences.

Booster Club Golf Tournament Scheduled for June 3rd
The Midland University Athletic Booster Club will host its 23rd annual golf tournament on Monday, June 3, 2019, at the Fremont Golf Club. The Athletic Booster Club works to support Warrior Athletics by helping provide the equipment, facilities, and funding our student-athletes need to compete as Warriors. All proceeds from this tournament directly support the Warrior athletic tradition.
Powerlifting Team Raising the Bar as Varsity-Level Program
In 2017, Midland University unveiled Powerlifting as a Varsity Sport. In only three seasons, Midland Powerlifting has established itself as a national powerhouse, earning the Men's and the Women's National Championship at the 2019 USA Powerlifting Collegiate Nationals. The Men's team has now won back-to-back National Championships and the Women's team won their first National Championship at this year's competition.
Midland Offers $1.33 Million in Scholarships to State's Leading Students
Midland University and the Miss Nebraska Organization have announced the expansion of a partnership that will provide up to 15 young women with college scholarships, both for undergraduate and graduate degree programs.
