It didn’t take Kara Jennings ‘22 long to realize that Midland University would be a great fit for her.

“I really liked my tour and could see myself at Midland,” she said. “I enjoyed meeting my future teammates during that tour. They were all very welcoming and positive.”

Kara said being part of the Warrior basketball team helped her forge relationships that remain with her today, and will continue into the future. “I think I enjoyed my teammates the most at Midland,” she said. “I made lifelong friends through basketball.”

Now working as a graphic designer for Enterprise Media Group, Kara enjoys the versatility of her career and her time at Midland helped spark her interest in creative design. “I create all kinds of designs on a daily basis, including newspapers, magazines, posters, business materials, and more,” she said. “I had a minor in graphic design at Midland and that’s where I found my interest. I had a great teacher who was able to let us have complete creative freedom while designing.”

Kara enjoys bicycling, sand volleyball, and drinking coffee in her spare time, and also recently obtained her real estate license.
