Alumni Spotlight: Madison (Plummer) Anderson ‘19
Midland University helped Madison (Plummer) Anderson prepare for the next phase of her life, both professionally and as a coach.
Softball was a driving force in bringing Madison to Midland from Newberg, Oregon as she wanted to continue her playing career, as well as get out of her comfort zone by going away for college. “I enjoyed the sense of community at Midland, especially within the athletics programs,” Madison said. “I greatly enjoyed all of the business professors and how much they truly cared about my success and well being.”
Madison works as a Human Resource Specialist in her hometown, recently earning her SHRM-CP (Certified Professional). She also coaches softball at Newberg High School. “Midland, especially the business school, gave me the confidence and knowledge to pursue my HR dream,” she said. “I was armed with the skills to be successful.”
Along with coaching softball, Madison also enjoys crocheting. But much of her time is occupied by her 19-month old son, Lawrence.
