Alumni Spotlight: Myles Shonsey '19
His time at Midland University allowed Myles Shonsey ‘19 to develop skills that have helped him grow in his career.
“Being at Midland taught me how to build relationships, and how to be a diligent and responsible member of our community.”
Myles works as a financial consultant with Shonsey Wealth Management in Omaha. He graduated from Midland with a degree in Finance and Psychology while also being a four-year member of the Warrior golf team. He was named an NAIA Scholar Athlete in 2018.
“I wanted a smaller school atmosphere that still had opportunities to learn and grow. I loved traveling with the golf team to events and getting to know the same people over four years.”
Being named a team captain is one of his fondest memories of his time at Midland, and he has relied on those leadership qualities to help people succeed in reaching their own goals during his work as a financial consultant.
Myles still enjoys time on the golf course, as well as being outdoors and spending time with his family.
