The Fremont Area Big Give is May 8th!

You Matter to our students! Join us on May 8, 2018, for the Fremont Area Big Give and support our students through the "Buy the Book" Scholarship.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 which will provide funds for approximately 150 books for our students!

Midland University Choir 90th Anniversary Celebration

The Midland University Alumni 90th Anniversary Choir Reunion was held on April 13-14, and nearly 170 alumni attended the event. Countless lives have been positively impacted through music, and this was truly a celebration of the connections and friendships that result from singing and being together.

Guest directors and soloists for the concert featured many Midland greats, including Mr. Gene Nelson, who led the Midland Lutheran College choir from 1962-1976.

"Thoroughly Modern Millie" Musical Production Opens

New Program Hopes to Address Substitute Teacher Shortages

Educational Service Unit 2 (ESU 2) and Midland University are teaming up to help address a substitute teacher shortage in area schools - and give aspiring teachers a dose of life in the classroom.

The program is available to a consortium of 11 northeast Nebraska school districts and provides students in Midland University's education program opportunities to get paid for covering classes at any of the districts involved when a substitute may not be available. Midland Dancers Show Off New Studio

The Midland University Dance team recently held an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony of its new dance studio, located next to Bath & Body Works, in the Fremont Mall. Midland and Fremont Mall partnered to repurpose the empty storefront into a new dance studio that serves as rehearsal space for the university's four dance programs.
