Midland Welcomes New Faculty Members

Officiating a Passion for DeBuse

A twist of fate landed Kyle DeBuse a spot as a football official, but hard work and a passion for the job has kept him in that role for more than 20 years.

DeBuse, a 1994 Midland graduate, began refereeing at the youth sports level during his days at Midland. That experience eventually led him to working games in the GPAC and Mid-American Conference. This year, he begins first season as a fulltime Big 10 football official.

Todd Conkright Hired as New Dean of Dunklau School of Business

Midland University has named Todd Conkright as the new Dean of its Dunklau School of Business. Conkright comes to Midland with more than 20 years of professional experience. He will work to strengthen all of the undergraduate business offerings, including the renowned accounting program, as well as the MBA, Code Academy, and Project Management Certification Programs.

2018 Convocation Ceremony Held

On August 28th, Midland celebrated the start of a new academic year, including a bright beginning for first year students and their collegiate journey, with the annual Convocation Ceremony. Midland students, faculty, and staff gathered at the iconic fountain in the heart of campus, accompanied by live marching band music, inspiring remarks, and reflective prayer, to commemorate the privilege of higher education and the overall college experience.

Admissions Team September Schedule

Midland's Admissions Team will be visiting several schools, seminars, and fairs in the Midwest during September. If you know a prospective student close to one of these schools or areas, please encourage them to visit! Students who visit campus by January 31, 2019, will receive a free Midland hoodie and a $4,000 Campus Visit Grant!
