Delores (Dee) McNevin March 18, 1926 - May 1, 2022. Dee McNevin, 96, of Fullerton, CA passed away peacefully on May 1, 2022. Dee was born in a farmhouse outside the small south-central Nebraska town of Wilcox to Herman and Martha Ziebarth on March 18, 1926. After graduating from Wilcox High School, Dee attended and graduated from Midland Lutheran College in Fremont, NE. During the mid-1950s, Dee moved to Anaheim, CA where she purchased a house just down the street from the newly opened Disneyland. While in Anaheim, she taught 2nd grade in the Magnolia School District. As a bonus, she met her husband Jack at this time who was selling office products to the school district. In 1963, Jack & Dee settled in their Fullerton house with their 3 sons where they lived for 49 years. In 2012, they moved to the independent living community of Morningside in Fullerton. Over the years, Dee enjoyed playing golf & tennis, and volunteering with the Assistance League and her PEO Chapter. Dee thoroughly enjoyed her many friendships she developed through the years and loved spending weekends and holidays with friends and family in San Clemente. After 58 years of marriage, Jack passed away at the age of 92 in 2016. Dee had a long and blessed life and truly lived the American dream. She was a wonderful, loving and loyal Wife, Mother & Grandmother who will be greatly missed. She is survived by her 3 Sons George Haslam (Peggy) of Moreno Valley, CA, John McNevin (Beverly) of Greenwood Village, CO, and Tom McNevin (Denise) of Anaheim, CA along with 4 Grandchildren Katy Haslam, Kim Alexander, Kellie McNevin & David McNevin.
