Donna KaiserDonna Mae Kaiser, age 96 of Blair, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2023 surrounded by her family in Beatrice, Nebraska. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, August 1, at 10:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blair. Graveside services will follow in the Blair Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, July 31 from 6-8 PM at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair.

Donna was born May 16, 1927 on a ranch in Wheeler County Nebraska the daughter of Dedrich and Emma Ulferts. She was raised on the family homestead in Fullerton, Nebraska. Donna was baptized in the Lutheran church in Elgin. In 1941 she was confirmed in the Lutheran Faith at Mt. Calvary. She graduated from Fullerton High School in 1946. After high school she attended college at Midland Lutheran in Fremont. Following her time in Fremont she moved to Lincoln. While in Lincoln, she worked at an orphanage and later with Lincoln Welding and Supply Company. On September 15, 1956 she was united in marriage to Edward Kaiser. After ten years of marriage the couple was blessed with three children.

Donna was an active member in every church she was a member of. She enjoyed spreading the love of God and her love of him with those around her. She loved to express herself in her art, gardening, reading and doing puzzles; she also enjoyed watching Jeopardy every day at 4:30. Donna will always be remembered for being an excellent mother and grandmother and friend. She never forgot a birthday or anniversary, and those who received her cards will always cherish them.

Donna is survived by her children: Janice (Kevin) Uecker, Edward Kenneth (Jackie) Kaiser Jr., and Mary Ann (Steve) Vischulis; grandchildren: Matthew Wilkinson, Anthony Uecker, Amanda Farmer, Jeff Fredericksen, Timothy Fredericksen, Scott Fredericksen, Richard Sutton, Christopher Kaiser, and Jason Alex Vischulis; eight great grandchildren; brother Paul (Lolita) Ulferts; as well as many friends and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and grandson Matthew as well as many dear friends and extended family.
