Iris Anne (Siemsen) Ciesielski passed away peacefully at the age of 84, at her home (The Village at Alameda) in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on June 1, 2018. She was survived by her daughter, Jan Bowers; her son, Bret Ciesielski and wife Mitzi; her sister, Mary L. Olsen and husband Robert; along with nieces, nephew, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Iris was loved and admired by all who knew her!

Her incredible musicianship led her to be the rehearsal accompanist for the UNM Chorus for many years, as well as being the assistant organist/pianist at her church.

A celebration of Iris’ life will be held at Saint Paul Lutheran Church, 1100 Indian School NE, Albuquerque, at 10 a.m. July 14. Memorials may be given in Iris’ name to SPLC.
