Pitch Perfect's Deke Sharon Coming to Midland

Pitch Perfect's Deke Sharon is coming to Midland on February 17th. As part of the "Festival of the Arts" workshops and performances, he will be judging Midland's first ever A Cappella Competition and he will be hosting a Master class.

Choir Alumni Reunion & Concert Planned for April

We are excited to invite choir alumni to gather and celebrate the wonderful memories made while singing at Midland. Lyders, Nelson, Elsberry and Logue...no matter the era or the choral group, the experience was unique and wonderful!

This reunion weekend will be an opportunity to reconnect with friends, sing, and see the tremendous growth that has taken place in the Midland University Arts program over the last several years, including the addition of several new choral groups. Register today!

Matt Childress Succeeds by Building Strong Relationships

"It was just meant to be," recent graduate Matt Childress said when asked about his path to Midland University. Matt initially came to Midland with his twin sister, Jessica, who became interested in the university via information she received at a college fair. During that campus visit, he discovered he, too, could envision his college experience at Midland.

Hope Center Site Director Enjoying New Role

Jonah Renter, a 2017 Midland graduate, recently became the Fremont site director for the Hope Center for Kids. His wife, Montana (Hinrichs) Renter, a 2016 Midland graduate, also works at the Hope Center as the Volunteer and Education Coordinator. They met while they were students Midland and married in June 2017 in the backyard of Fremont's Hope Center.

"I get to do what I love every day and I get to serve the Lord and work with my wife every day," he said. "I like making an impact on the community and helping kids succeed in school and in life, in general, and showing kids their full potential and how successful they can be.
