Midland to Host Equity and Inclusion Summit

Midland University is proud to host the “Together we are Warriors” Equity and Inclusion Summit on Sunday, February 9 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Wikert Event Center. The event is sponsored by Midland University, Methodist Fremont Health, and the Greater Fremont Development Council. 

The Equity and Inclusion Summit will bring Midland University and the Fremont community together as they embrace and celebrate what makes each person unique. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn how to create inclusive spaces and develop ways they can incorporate inclusion into their everyday lives.

Faculty, Students Seeing Benefits of Midland University 1:1 Program

Since the unveiling of the 1:1 Apple iPad initiative last fall, Midland University students and faculty members have experienced new opportunities for enhanced educational outcomes, both in and out of the classroom. Through the program, Midland provided each undergraduate student and full-time faculty member on the Fremont campus with new iPads and iPencils, free of charge.

The Fabric of Life: Midland Students Aid Animals in Australia

They may be half a continent away, but Midland University students, faculty members, and friends are doing their part to help some furry friends in Australia. Volunteers recently made pouches for animals that have been injured or displaced due to the wildfires.

Miller Hall/Endowment Matching Gift Challenge

Midland University has been blessed with a remarkable matching gift challenge from an anonymous donor who wishes to help Midland build its endowment funds and assist with the construction of the new Miller Residence Hall. For every dollar contributed to a new or existing endowment fund, a dollar will be contributed to the Miller Hall project, up to $1 million!
