Kathleen Ann Reynolds, the daughter of Lester and Florence (Kemper) Rolf, was born February 28, 1951, in Omaha, Nebraska. She graduated from Tarkio High School and attended two years at Immanuel School of Nursing, Omaha, Nebraska, graduating as a registered nurse. Kathleen was baptized, confirmed, and later united in marriage to Thomas Reynolds on September 13, 1975, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, rural Westboro, Missouri. They were blessed with a daughter, Julianne. They made their permanent home of 38 years in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Kathleen was a beloved wife, mother and Gigi. Her life was centered on loving the Lord, her family and many friends. She enjoyed life to the fullest with a constant desire to grow closer to her Lord and Savior to serve His will. She lived her life as an example as the hands and feet of Christ. She served the community faithfully for fifty years as a nurse at City of Faith intensive care and Saint Francis home health services. She adored her grandchildren, loved being a part of their lives and watching them grow.
She enjoyed gardening, sewing, singing in the choir, a cup of coffee with family and friends, and visits “back home” in Northwest Missouri. Her laughter, warm hugs and words of wisdom will be greatly missed. Kathleen passed away surrounded by her family Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at Saint Francis Hospital, Tulsa, OK, at the age of 71 years. Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her beloved husband, Tom Reynolds; daughter: Julianne Hand and her husband, Andrew, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; three grandchildren: Jacob, Noah, and Samuel Hand; brother: Glenn Rolf and wife Barbara, Tarkio, MO; sister: Julia Snyder and husband Pat, Tarkio, MO; mother-in-law:
Eleanor Sadvari; honorary daughter: Grace Shelton and husband John, Broken Arrow; three honorary grandchildren: Gloria, Mikey, and Caleb Shelton; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, July 18 at First Presbyterian Church of Tulsa. Memorials are suggested to Angel Tree Ministry. Floral Haven Funeral Home, Crematory & Cemetery, Broken Arrow, OK.
