Just two weeks after Creekside High School's graduation, balloons and decorations in red, white and black — the school's colors — could still be seen on display in the home of Katie and Dave Simpson.

It had clearly been a momentous occasion for the couple's son Cathan, 18, as well as the rest of the family, which includes Brandon, 16, Erica, 14, and Logan, 12 — oh and, their three cats, two dogs and a tank full of fish.

There's definitely a lot of activity in the household, with several of the kids involved in sports, the arts and other activities, as well as the daily grind of meals, laundry and normal sibling spats and hijinks.

There's also a lot of love.

Over the last 11 years, the Simpsons have fostered five children and adopted all five — Cathan and Logan singly, and Brandon and Erica as siblings; another daughter, Taliah, no longer lives in the house.
