Anniversary Date: August 24, 1991

Love Story: We met during our sophomore year at Midland, when we shared some classes and books. Our first date was attending the Homecoming Dance together in October 1988 and the rest is history. We married one year after graduation at Salem Lutheran Church in Dakota City, NE. We lived in Omaha until 1999, when we moved to Eric's hometown of Gretna. Eric is a Physical Therapist and Lona is a science teacher. We have 3 children and the oldest (Lance) is currently a junior at Midland. That makes him the 4th generation of Pinkalls to be a Warrior.  We treasure the many wonderful memories of the time we spent at Midland. Many of our closest friendships began on campus and some of professors who taught and advised us then are still in contact. However, the most precious gift we got from Midland was each other. We celebrated our 25th anniversary last August. Thanks MLC for bringing us together! Go Warriors!
