Funeral services for Mary Beth (Yusten) Wilson, 59, of Rosalie, will be Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 10:30a.m. at Salem Lutheran Church by Dakota City. The visitation will be Friday, February 2, 2018 at Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Bancroft, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Burial will be at Silver Ridge Cemetery near Ponca.
Wilson was born July 7, 1958 to Robert and Joyce (Wulf) Yusten in Sioux City, Iowa, and she passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018 at her home in Rosalie.
She graduated from South Sioux City High School in 1976, and graduated from Midland Teachers College and from Wayne State College with Masters Degree. She married Robert J. Wilson on July 25, 1980 and the couple had three children.
She was teacher for years, teaching in Cedar Bluffs for three years and Macy for 25 years.
Wilson was very active in the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rosalie as member of the church board and ladies organizations. She loved everything to do with the outdoors, especially camping, fishing, and going to the mountains. She also enjoyed sewing. Most of all, Mary loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce. Mary Beth Wilson is survived by her husband, Robert Wilson of Rosalie; sons, Ben(Rachel) Wilson of Whitewater, Colo.; Josh Wilson of Rosalie; daughter, Amanda (Mike) Alder of Laurel, father, Robert Yusten of South Sioux City; sister, Judy (Jack) Blunk, brothers, Mark (P.J.) Yusten, Brian (Lori) Yusten; and grandchildren, Gabriella Wilson, Bryleigh Alder, and Noah Alder.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for future designation. Arrangements are under the direction of Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Bancroft.
