Michael David Edwards, September 4, 1983 – March 10, 2021

Michael is survived by parents, Joel and Joan Edwards; sisters, Stephanie Thomas (Collin) and Amy Cap (Mitchell); niece, Vivian Thomas; grandmother, Marjorie Edwards; girlfriend, Rachael Andrews; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He is preceded in death by grandparents: Joseph Edwards, Leona Campbell, and John L. Campbell, Jr.

Michael graduated from Millard North High School (2002) and from Midland Lutheran College (2006).  He started playing soccer at a young age and continued through college.  He loved family and cared deeply for them.  He also cared for friends and others he enjoyed being with and helping.  He enjoyed fishing and playing golf and watching Nebraska football. He had a special place in his heart for Hearts United, an animal rescue facility. He volunteered when they had an adoption day at the local pet stores.  He adopted Herc, one of the dogs they saved.  He is truly going to be missed.

VISITATION observing CDC guidelines: Saturday, March 20th from 10am to 11am at the West Center Chapel, followed by SERVICES at 11am. Private Interment.  Memorials may be directed to the family.
