Anniversary Date: December 28, 2013

Love Story: Roberto and I met our freshman year at Midland and became fast friends. He and his baseball buddies and me and my girlfriends all hung out all the time. We each dated different people during our time at Midland, but the summer before our senior year, we both stayed in Fremont to work and hung out more one-on-one. We lived in the Apartment dorms senior year - he on the first floor and me on the third so we saw each other a lot. We started dating on March 31, 2008. We dated across country until 2013 when he joined the army and moved to Tennessee where he proposed to me on July 4th of that year. Due to him deploying, we did a quick five-month engagement and got married on a beautiful 67 degree December day in Omaha, Nebraska to be closer to family!! We have been together for almost 16 years and have been married for an amazing nine! Due to Roberto’s job in the army, we have been able to travel the world and welcomed three beautiful boys into the world! We are so excited to see where this amazing journey takes us next!!
