Theresa Elaine Hoffman, 95 years, of Fremont, Nebraska, passed away Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Theresa was born Aug. 4, 1926, to Orren and Lois (Emory) Nau in Fremont. She graduated from Fremont High School in 1943. After high school, she attended college at Midland Lutheran College. In 1946, Theresa married Bruce Peters. They later divorced. On June 24, 1951, Theresa married Fred Hoffman. Fred passed away a short 10 years after their marriage. Theresa worked as an accountant for Con Agra and retired in 1998. She lived in Fremont all her life, except a short time in Hooper, Nebraska.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Fred.

She is survived by her son, David Hoffman; daughters, Jeanne Hoffman, Cynthia Hilliard, Patty Blake, and Susan (Tom) Mitchell; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug., 28, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. Pastor Rick Kanoy will officiate. Burial will be at Union Cemetery near Cedar Bluffs, Nebraska.
