Midland University is proud to recognize three individuals who, between them, have given more than 100 years of service to Midland University and its students.
Dr. Janet Lack and Doug...
Emma was born and raised in small-town David City, NE. Being the middle child of five, it was always organized chaos growing up! Her favorite memories from her childhood were going on family vacations in their RV, going to Wilber Czech Days every year, and playing outside with her siblings. With having three sisters and one brother, there was always someone to keep her company and hang out with.
Emma graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with Concentrations in Marketing & Management from Midland University (Go Warriors!). She then went to work as Director of Communications & Marketing at the Fremont Area Chamber of Commerce where she discovered her passion for Graphic Design, Event Planning, and building relationships with people. All of this is what led her back to Midland to be part of the Advancement Team. Her role will help her connect and engage with Business Partners, as well as coordinate events around campus and in the community.
In Emma’s spare time, she loves to go country dancing and have bonfires with her friends, do DIY projects with her dad and brother, and go shopping with her mom and sisters. She also invests a lot of time in her side photography business, EJ Photography, which she started her freshman year of college.
