Kenneth M. Morrison passed away peacefully at home in Bakersfield, CA on July 12, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his father, Percy Morrison; mother, Maude Morrison; sister, Donna Tubbs; and brother, Dean Morrison. He is survived by his wife, Loree Morrison; daughter, Laura Heil; and granddaughters, Laura Daley and Heidi Gonzalez.

Ken received his bachelor's degree at Midland College and master's degree at UNO. He spent his career in the field of education, teaching in California and Montana, eventually retiring and moving to Omaha where he volunteered for St. John Lutheran Church and the Ponca Hills Fire Department. Never one to slow down, he kept himself busy in retirement by working road construction in the summers and tending to his acreage in Ponca Hills. He was a hard worker in all he did and loved to joke. You could often find him at the local coffee shop discussing current events with "his cronies." He will be missed by all.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Sunday, August 29, 2021, at 1pm at PHVFD, followed by a light lunch and private burial. In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. John Lutheran Church or Ponca Hills Volunteer Fire Department on his behalf.
