Patricia was certainly loved by her family as all of her children and grandchildren were able to visit her in the weeks before her passing. Patricia was born in Herman, Nebraska and graduated from Osceola High School in Osceola Iowa. She then moved to Omaha where she completed her nursing degree from a Immanuel nursing school.
Patricia worked as a staff RN and charge nurse until her retirement in 1994, primarily at Bergan Mercy Hospital. Then wanting to focus on helping things grow and provide beauty,
Patricia became a master gardener, working at Lauritzen gardens and many other facilities around the city. Patricia was quite proud of her garden.
A memorial service honoring her life will be held on April 15 at 11 AM at Heafey Hoffman Dworak and Cutler West Center Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations ae suggested to Countryside Community Church, Project Harmony, Child Saving Institute, and Lauritzen Gardens.
