Rex Arthur Donelson, age 76, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away April 28, 2023 at his home in Omaha. A private graveside memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 3, 2023 in the Stromsburg Cemetery.

Rex was born June 24, 1946 in Stromsburg, Nebraska, to Chester Harlan and Marion Hildegard (Ericson) Donelson. He attended school in Stromsburg graduating in 1964. He then attended Midland Lutheran College in Fremont.

Rex lived in worked in Omaha in various job positions including at National Shirt Company in the Westroads shopping mall in Omaha. He loved to visit state parks and spend time with family camping and especially fishing with his brother-in-law.

Survivors include one brother Kenny (Joann) Donelson of Stromsburg; two sisters, Betty (Marvin) Semerad of Howells and Harriet (Bob) Peterson of Osceola; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Dubas Funeral Home of Stromsburg and Osceola has been entrusted with arrangements.
