Greg L. Ryerson, Class of 1975, passed away in Augsburg, Germany on January 26, 2026, at age 72. While at Midland, Greg was a member of The Clef Dwellers for four years under Gene Nelson and graduated with a degree in Hospitality Management. After Graduation, he spent time in several locations in the U.S., Canada and Australia singing in major international opera houses. He also did some guest appearances in Omaha at the Omaha playhouse, and some hometown concerts in Fremont, Nebraska. In 1990, he moved to Germany and continued singing large bass-baritone operatic roles around Europe. He was married and is survived by Jacqueline Glavicic, his wife of thirty three years, son, Dominic, daughter, Nathalie all of Augsburg, Germany; and sister, Sally Pflaum (Robert), of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri. The family will have a private service in Germany.
