Born in Wahoo, Nebraska on March 16, 1939, to VE and Aina Johnson. Graduate of Luther Academy, 1957; Luther College, 1959; Augustana College, Rock Island, Illinois, 1961. Master Degrees in Educational Development and School Administration from University of Colorado, Greely. A lifelong teacher. Past President of the Women of the ELCA, Rocky Mountain Synod. Passed away in Solon, Iowa on August 2, 2026.
Yvonne is survived by her son Victor Page and his wife Dawna Page; Grandchildren Soli, Zac, and Aiden Page; brother Verner Johnson (Rita) and sister Carol Taylor (Robert, deceased), and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Preceded in death by her husband, Jasper Page, sisters Vernal Elliot (Robert, deceased) and Grace Palm (Wayne), and brother Carl (Jean).
Previously lived in Wahoo, Nebraska; Rockford, Illinois; Fremont, California; Aurora, Colorado; Calhan, Colorado; Keystone Place, North Liberty, Iowa. Memorial service at Keystone Place, 1275 Forevergreen Rd, North Liberty, Iowa, on Monday September 14 at 1:30. She will be interred at Arlington National Cemetery.
