Muriel Ringle passed away on 6/26/18. She was the contact on the Henry and Lena Monke Scholarship.
Muriel L. Ringle, 96 years, of Fremont died June 26, 2018, at Dunklau Gardens in Fremont. Muriel was born Dec. 5, 1921, in Fremont to William and Maude (Halcomb) Lingle. She was a life-long resident of Fremont. Muriel married Ernest L. ‘Ernie’ Ringle on March 14, 1946, in Marysville, Kansas. Ernest died Nov. 8, 2006.
Muriel was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 200 Auxiliary and VFW Post 854 Auxiliary.
She is survived by sons, Ronald (Sherry) Ringle, Omaha, and Keith (Lorna) Ringle, Fremont; brother, Joseph (Patricia) Webb, Florida; sisters, Emma Lee Shada, Fremont, and Dorothy ‘Catherine’ Graber, Minnesota; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by parents; husband; daughter, Ilene Clark; two brothers; three sisters; and three grandchildren.
The graveside service is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 7, at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont. Memorial visitation on Friday, July 6, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Memorials may be given to the family or donor’s choice.
