It’s not always what you know but who you know.

For Allen Beermann it’s a matter of both when it comes to random trivia stuff about Nebraska and his familiarity with countless Nebraskans living in the state and those who reside elsewhere. He is one of the state’s best ambassadors when it comes to promoting anyone or anything with a connection to Nebraska. One of those things he is especially proud to promote is the USS Nebraska submarine, or as he calls it, “Our boat.”

“It has been my good fortune to be associated with the very best boat in the Navy,” Beermann said.
