Roland Munro, '63 of British Guyana was one of the early champions of youth soccer in Omaha whose Burke teams twice were Class A state champions in boys soccer. In high school he participated in soccer, cricket and volleyball and was a British Guyana national volleyball team player. At Midland he was a conference champion in tennis. He taught science at Morton Junior High for 31 years. His teams at Burke were Class A state champions in 1990 and 1994 and runners-up five times. His record at Burke was 144-29.
