Outstanding Young Alumna: Kristine Spracklin Roberts ‘07
Kristine Spracklin Roberts earned her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration Degree with Concentrations in Accounting and Marketing from Midland Lutheran College in 2007. During her time at Midland, Kristine was a 4 year member of the Woman’s Golf Team, was active in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Cardinal Key, was a Resident Assistant and Community Advisor for Beegle Hall, and served as an officer in the national business fraternity Phi Beta Lambda, of which she is still a Professional Member.
A class in Business Law piqued Kristine’s interest in litigation and Kristine later went on to obtain her Juris Doctor Law Degree from the University of Nebraska-College of Law in 2010. Kristine is a member of the Nebraska State Bar Association, Young Lawyers Section of the NSBA, Juvenile Section of the NSBA and is current President of the Dodge County Bar Association.
Kristine began her law career as an Associate at Wiseman Law Offices in 2010 before opening her own law office in Fremont in 2014, Roberts Law Office LLC. Kristine’s specialty is in Child/Juvenile Law, Adoption and Gurdianship Cases, and she is trained in a variety of child welfare topics, including mediation. As a trained Guardian Ad Litem, Kristine makes recommendations to the Court for a child’s best interests. Kristine’s passion for child advocacy and understanding of developmental and psychological issues for children led her and her husband to become foster parents in 2014. Kristine was named Best of Fremont in the category of Attorney in 2017.
Kristine is active in the Fremont community, volunteering her time with Camp Fontanelle to impact lives through intentional Christian community, and supporting community non-profits such as the Masonic Home for Children and Rebuilding Together- Platte Valley East. Kristine is also a member of the Camping Ministries of the Great Plains Conference and President of Center Sphere Networking Group.
She and her husband Travis, also a Midland graduate, are members at Elkhorn Hills United Methodist Church.
