Kathryn Ann Miller, age 89, passed away on 2/22/2019 in Palestine, TX. Kathryn was born 5/10/1929 in Sidney, NE to Harold (Pat) and Grace (Hornaday) Ells.
She attended Sidney High School and Midland College, where she sang soprano in church and school choirs. Her talent and love of music (including singing and playing the piano and organ) extended throughout her life. She sang at countless weddings, funerals and special occasions.
She was married to Verne Charles Miller on 11/25/1949. She and Verne lived together on their farm east of Gurley for 60 years.
Hobbies included Word Puzzles, Solitaire, Wheel of Fortune and The Price Is Right.
She is survived by her husband Verne, 3 children, Jeri Hedrick, Mark Miller and Mike Miller, 2 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10 AM on May 25th (Saturday) at Weyerts Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery, where her ashes will be interred. Reception will be held in the Church basement following the service.
Gehrig-Stitt Chapel & Cremation Service, LLC in Sidney will be in charge of Memorial Service Arrangements.
