Pamela Ruth Korth, 67, of Greeley, passed away on June 22, 2024 at MCR in Loveland. She was born April 21, 1957 in Landstuhl, Germany on the military base to Paul Robert and Shirley Eloise (Rymerson) Hansen.

Her father was serving as a pastor in the military and they lived in Germany for a year and a half before returning to the United States in 1958. The family moved to Lemon, SD and then Watertown, SD before locating to Fremont, NE in 1975. She graduated from high school in Fremont and went on to study at Midland Lutheran College in Fremont.

She married Joseph Gerard Korth on July 21, 1979 in Fremont and the Lutheran ceremony was performed by her father. In 1981, the family moved to Greeley.

Pam began her teaching career in Malcom, NE before moving and then taught at Valley High School, Maplewood Middle School, Centennial Elementary and finished her career at Heiman Elementary, retiring in 2014.

Music was such a big part of Pam's life. She was a founding director of the Greeley Children's Chorale, serving 37 years. She also sang with the Greeley Chorale, and sang for a number of weddings and funerals. She taught vocal and piano students over the years and enjoyed playing the violin and guitar.

Their family loved time at their mountain property, she adored her granddaughters and time with them, her Nebraska Cornhuskers, playing cards and family activities. Her faith played a big role in her life.

She was a 30-year member of the Bunko Babes, Our Savior's Lutheran Church, PEO, Tri-Fi college sorority and CMEA.

Thankful to have shared her life are her husband, Joe, their children; Michael (Jeni) Korth and Sarah (Adam) Padilla, her two granddaughters; Olivia Korth and Emersyn Padilla, her four siblings; Becky (Chris) Lang, Tim and Jon Hansen and Beth (Jim) York, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, Joe's family and their special pup, Marley.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A visitation will be held from 3-5 p.m. Sunday at Adamson Life Celebration Home.

Pam's Life Celebration will take place at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 1, 2024 at the Greeley West High School Auditorium with a reception to follow. "Forever in blue jeans" was common for Pam and Joe and you're invited to wear denim in her honor.

Inurnment will be held at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church columbarium at a later date.
