Robert C. ‘Bob’ Chisholm, age 71, of Fremont passed away surrounded by his family, Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2018, at Methodist Fremont Health. Bob was born Nov. 14, 1946, in Fremont to Paul and Jean (Summermeyer) Chisholm.

Bob grew up in Fremont and graduated from Fremont Senior High School in 1964. He received his Master’s degree from BYU. Bob married Carol (Wisner) in 1969 in Chicago. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam from Jan. 2, 1969, to Nov. 12, 1971. Bob lived in Fremont, North Carolina, Omaha, and Grand Island for over 30 years and back to Fremont in 2013. He owned Chisholm Tax Service in Fremont.

He was a member of St. James Episcopal Church and D.A.V., both in Fremont. Bob really loved spending time with his family, friends and clients. He also loved to hunt and fish and loved all his dogs, especially Bella and Blaze.

Survivors include his wife, Carol; son, Travis Chisholm and daughter, Tiffany (Wes) Ewasiuk, all of Fremont; mother, Jean Chisholm of Valley; brothers, Rich (Margaret) Chisholm of Provo, Utah, and Roger (Mary) Chisholm of Arlington; sisters, Claire (Chuck) Anderson of New Hampshire, Carol (Tim) Allemang of Lincoln and Cris (Jessup) Wilson of Valley; grandchildren, Kaleb and Keagen Chisholm and Hunter and Garrett Ewasiuk.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, Paul.

The memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at St. James Episcopal Church in Fremont. Rev. Mother Sarah Miller will officiate. Memorial visitation will be on Friday from 4-8 p.m. and the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., all at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont.

Military Honors and burial will be conducted at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
