Rosemary Anne Russell, March 30, 1935-June 30, 2026

Rosemary was born in Grand Island, NE on March 30, 1935. She attended Midland University earning a BS in Education and a Minor degree in Music. Rosemary was a teacher in Nebraska teaching in a one room school house grades 1st through 12th and elementary school in Indio and El Centro, CA. Rosemary married Donald Russell in 1957 and they were married for 61 years until his passing.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband Donald and survived by her Sons, Charles (Kim) and Jonathan (Veronica), Granddaughters, Anneliese, Nichole (Sean) and Mila Russell and her Great Grandchildren Zachery and Sloane.

Rosemary loved playing the piano and taught many children to play throughout her life. Rosemary and Donald loved traveling in their retirement, but had a special place in their hearts for Yellowstone National Park.

Rosemary’s memorial service will be held at Horan and McConaty’s Funeral, Arvada, CO, on August 18th, 2026. Burial will be private at a later date.
