Sara "Sally" Katherine Johnson, 83, a longtime resident of Naperville, IL, passed away peacefully January 13, 2023, in her home. Wife of Michael Johnson; mother of Jay Johnson and Kathryn Johnson; daughter of the late George and Gertrude Snyder; sister of John Snyder, the late James Snyder and the late Marjorie Christenson, aunt of many. Sally was born on February 23, 1939,in Fremont NE and was raised there. She was a graduate of Fremont High School in 1957. Sally then attended Midland College in Fremont and after that became an elementary school teacher. Sally married Michael Johnson in Omaha, Nebraska on July 2, 1966 and they moved to Morrisville PA. In June of 1968 they moved to Naperville, IL Sally loved to visit new places such as small towns, restuarants, botanical gardens and shopping centers with family and friends. She liked to hike river and railroad trails. She also liked sports and kept up with many Chicago and Nebraska teams. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 20th from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. at the Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Homes & Crematory, 516 S. Washington St., Naperville, Interment will follow at the Naperville Cemetery.
