The Immanuel-Midland Nursing Alumni Association Executive Board met at the Anderson Conference Room, Midland University, on Friday, July 19, 2024.

Julie Frederick was welcomed as a newly elected board member.

Total paid membership for FY 2023-2024 is 75.  Complimentary gift memberships presented to thirty two 2024 Midland University Nursing graduates.  Total membership is 107.

Board activities since last meeting in April, 2024:

• One Board member wrote an article including pictures which was printed in the Fremont Tribune in April.
• Two board members delivered plants and notes to nine MU nursing faculty and staff for Nurses Day in May.
• Two board members presented each graduating nurse with a rose and a complimentary first year membership in the I-MNAA at the Pinning Ceremony in May.
• One Board member participated in the 100th Year Celebration planning retreat in June.
• One Board member attended a meeting in June at CHI Immanuel Hospital regarding archives and alumni memorabilia

The 100th Year Celebration planning committee continues to be hard at work in planning a fantastic day for the Immanul-Midland Nursing Alumni Association.  This event is planned for Saturday, April 12, 2025 at the Wikert Center on the campus of Midland University.  More information will be forthcoming. 

Paper bags full of goodies will be distributed to all student nurses in October compliments of the I-MNAA.  The student nurses welcome the goodies with excitement.

Next quarterly Board meeting is scheduled for Friday, October 25, 2024.
