The Immanuel-Midland Nursing Alumni Executive Board met, in person with several members joining by using Zoom, for their quarterly meeting January 7, 2022.

Dr. Linda Quinn, Dean of College of for Health Professionals at Midland University shared that Dr. Jennifer Fitzgerald has accepted the position of Associate Dean of School of Nursing.  She will start her new position in May, 2022.  Given all the issues surrounding Covid 19 pandemic, Dr. Quinn was pleased to share that nursing students are present at all clinical sites. 

Students and nursing professors are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the Gaumard manikin for the use in the simulation lab.

The Executive Board approved the awarding of a $500.00 scholarship to six nursing students from the 2022-2023 senior class.  The recipients will be announced at the spring Alumni Luncheon and Reunion scheduled for April 9, 2022.  Plans for a memorable Alumni Reunion are underway.   Honor classes will be recognized.  Registration information will be mailed in March to all alumni members that addresses are known.
