Evan joined the Institutional Advancement team in August 2022 where he serves as the Alumni Relations Manager. Originally from Bellevue, NE, Evan went on to serve in the U.S. Marine Corps for close to a decade before making his way back to Nebraska and eventually Midland University. While working in the non-profit sector with the American Red Cross he enrolled at Midland University where he completed a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Marketing & Management. He would then go on to serve at the Fremont Family YMCA where he served as the Director of Health/Wellness & Sports. He would use this time to work in various areas of event planning and cultivating local donors through sponsorships for the organization.

After earning his undergraduate degree from Midland in 2021, Evan would go on to complete his Master’s of Science in Sports Management from the University of Florida. In that process he has also completed Graduate Certificates in Event Management from UF, and Counseling & Mental Wellness from California University.

Evan currently resides in Omaha, NE with his amazing wife, Lauren. Along with their four young children, Ellie, Elena, Emilia, & Hudson. He is excited to return to his educational roots and as an alumnus to help engage and cultivate fellow Warriors!
