Homecoming 2018Midland University Honors the Past and Looks to the Future During Homecoming 2018

Midland University will welcome past, present and future Warriors, as well as community members, during Homecoming 2018 celebrations this weekend! There are events for everyone, including reunions, student activities, planetarium show, tailgate, and opportunities to see the Warriors athletic teams in action.

We are thrilled to announce the following alumni and families will be honored during the weekend:

Midland CampusMidland Achieves Record Enrollment

This fall, Midland University reached record enrollment of 1,395 students, the largestever in the institute’s 135-year history. This news comes on the heels of The Chronicle of Higher Education recognizing Midland as the ninth fastest-growing private, nonprofit baccalaureate institution in the nation.

Caryl SteyerSteyer Family Selected as 2018 Midland Distinguished Family

For more than 50 years and through three generations, the Steyer name has been synonymous with Midland University. On September 30th, the Dr. Caryl and Shirley Steyer family will be recognized as the Distinguished Midland Family Award for 2018.

LueninghoenerPlanetarium Show to Honor Lueninghoener

Gilbert Lueninghoener really did encourage his students to aim for the stars. And Jack Dunn, '69 was one of those students. Now retired, Dunn will return to his alma mater to present a special planetarium and laser show, paying tribute to Lueninghoener.

The public is invited to the show, which starts at 7:00 p.m. September 28th in the Lueninghoener Planetarium on the university campus.
