The Immanuel-Midland Nursing Alumni Association Executive Board met in person, 4 members joining via phone, for their quarterly meeting on July 27, 2022.

Three members of the Board participated in the nursing pinning ceremony conducted at Sinai Lutheran Church on May 6, 2022.  Fourteen senior nursing students received their pin.  A yellow rose and a letter of congratulations including a one year membership to the Alumni Association was given to each graduate. 

A geranium plant gift was given to each Midland University Faculty member, Lavonne Stewart, Coordinator of Health Professions and Compliance, Athletic Training, Human Performance, Health Science and Nursing and Kristen Drake, Alumni Manager and Events Specialist in honor and celebration of Nurses’ Day and in recognition of the importance of their role in the education and development of today’s nurse.

Celebration plans have begun for the 100th anniversary of the Immanuel-Midland Nursing Alumni Association in 2025. 

Saturday, April 15, 2023, is the date of the next Alumni Association Luncheon. Location is the Private Dining Rooms at Midland University.  More information will be forthcoming as plans are developed.
