Wasfi Alomari has not been afraid of taking chances, both personally and professionally, in his life.

Alomari moved his family from his native Jordan to the United States a few years ago. He also decided to pursue his Masters degree in Graduate and Professional Studies, completing his degree at Midland University last May. “I came to the United States with my wife and two sons,” he said. “It was a challenging journey, but I am proud of what we have achieved so far.”

Along with getting his MBA, Alomari also started a new role as Director of CS and Success at Cole Information in Omaha. When looking for the right fit to pursue his MBA, Alomari was impressed with Midland’s approach. “I liked the hybrid teaching system, and the academic materials at Midland have a high scientific value and are connected to the market situation by using real life examples,” he said.

Through his work in Midland’s MBA program, he was grateful for the resources he was provided, and the knowledge he gained to further his career. “I was impressed with the warmth of the team and the support I received from professors as an international student,” Alomari said. “The quality of education, networking opportunities, skills acquired, and resources that were available contributed to my preparation for the future.”

Alomari said those skills have translated into his professional career, setting the stage for him to become a more productive leader. “I gained the love and respect of my professors in finishing my MBA,” he said. “I am implementing what I have learned at Midland into my career.”
